Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy 2 trainers may have sold Ten minutes within going on sale, but that did not stop the shoes from turning up on eBay, according to a Feb. 10 report from NME.
Based on the report, a set of the Red October trainers are going for ??10 million ($16 million U.S. dollars) on the online auction marketplace site.
The red version of the Air Yeezy 2 shoes were released on Feb. 9 for $245. Nike announced this news of the special edition Kanye sneakers on Twitter. The shoes were sold within 10 minutes, based on a report by Vibe.
These shoes then designed a reappearance on eBay at the starting bid of ??220. You will find similar shoes being sold for ??5000 ($3,950).
Kanye hasn’t had the best relationship with Nike as the rapper recently announced a new deal with Adidas after criticizing the premium sports brand because of not creating enough sneakers.
He explained in an interview with Zane Lowe:
West is interested in securing a deal with Adidas. He thinks collaborating using the company will make him ‘bigger than Walmart.’
